Every FHMC engagement begins the same way: with a short, defined Diagnostic. It exists so that neither side commits to a long mandate based on a proposal document.
What it is
Three to four weeks. A defined question, agreed in writing before we start. Interviews, analysis and observation as the question requires. It ends with findings, a decision map and one recommendation: what we would do, in what order, and what we would not do.
What it costs
The Diagnostic is defined in scope and fixed in fee before it begins — so the question under examination, not the engagement itself, holds the attention. No day rates, no open meters. If deeper work follows, the diagnostic fee structure is credited against the first phase of the mandate.
Three versions
For houses: brand, portfolio, market entry or organisational questions.
For institutions: sector, programme design or capability questions.
For leaders: the scoping phase of a Private Advisory mandate.
What happens next
Write to consulting@fabianhirose.com with two or three lines on the question you are facing. If it is a question this practice can answer, we will reply within two working days to arrange a conversation. If it is not, we will say so and, where we can, point you to someone better placed.
